Here is mine. 1. Alabama- Reigning national champions, they return most of their offensive starters and will be in the mix for the title again. 2. Ohio State- They are projected to win the Big Ten by many and have a legitimate shot at the title. Non-conference game versus Miami and road games at Wisconsin and Iowa will surely prove their worth. 3. Boise State- I have doubted them for years. I still don't want to put them here, but they have earned it. A game against Virginia Tech will make or break their season. 4. Texas- Colt McCoy may be gone, but Longhorn fans should not worry. Texas will once again be in the title hunt. I do not believe they will though. 5. Virginia Tech- My favorite to win the ACC, they have a great team this year as always. I do not see a title in their future. 6. Nebraska- Future Big Ten team, the Cornhuskers should win the Big 12 North again and will challenge Texas and Oklahoma for the Big 12 title. 7. Florida- Considered favorites to win the SEC East, my only concern for the gators is replacing the nine players that left for the draft mainly on defense. Their new QB is no Tim Tebow, but I wouldn't worry about him. 8. Wisconsin Badgers- UW is a serious Big Ten contender and will challenge Ohio State. A date with Ohio State will decide their season on October 16th. They return 18 starters. The Badgers could have their first BCS team since 1999. 9. Iowa- Another contender for the Big Ten, Iowa will be great. If they can beat Ohio State they can win the Big Ten. Their schedule favors them. Another top 3 finish in the Big Ten is in their future. 10. TCU- They will be good again and are my favorites to win the Mountain West. However, I do not think they will be as good as last year. 11. Oklahoma- Sam Bradford may be gone, but Landry Jones is a very decent QB. They battle it out with Texas foe the Big 12 South crown. 12. Pittsburgh- With Brian Kelly leaving Cincinnati, Pittsburgh is the team to beat in the Big East. Their schedule is tougher, but they are my prediction to win the Big East. 13. Arkansas- They have high expectations.in order to seriously challenge Alabama, they must improve on defense. 14. Miami- I was tempted to put them further up on my list. They will challenge Virginia Tech for the ACC title. A road game against Ohio State will show their true colors. 15. Penn State- Last on my list, they play a tough schedule. They play at Alabama and Iowa. They will challenge Ohio State, Wisconsin, and Iowa for the Big Ten crown.... Read More »
